COMMUNITY MOVEMENT WORKSHOP: Fleshy Texts: 'Carnivore' in Process
This is an open level workshop designed to engage the imagination through movement and language. Together we will use simple prompts for moving and writing in order to create short sequences of creative writing and/or dance. Prompts will be drawn from the creative process used by Kate and Meghan to generate 'Carnivore', showing Saturday April 16th at Upper Jay Arts Center. A simple physical warm-up will be offered, we will get to know eachother a bit as we work. Absolutely no experience in dance, performance, or creative writing necessary. All bodies are welcome. Wear something you feel comfortable in, no 'dance' clothes required.
Suggested donation- $10
Attendees are required to wear a mask at all times while inside the Recovery Lounge.
