Ursa & the Major Key is an indie/psychedelic band from Plattsburgh.

Roan Yellowthorn- the duo Jackie McLean and her partner, multi-instrumentalist Shawn Strack, epitomize good songwriting. Their songs percolate with tension. They tread apprehensive verses to arrive at unshackled, uplifting choruses. Strack's various organic and electronic instrumentation bolsters McLean's piano melodies. Roan Yellowthorn fall in line with Regina Spektor and Inara George, two artists with an overall positive vibe who make sonically rich pop music with emotionally complicated lyrics.
