| The Upper Jay Art Center is a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation brothers Scott and Byron Renderer created as a place with
which to share their passion for music, theater, and visual art.
The old three story building is located on Rt. 9N on the Ausable
River in Upper Jay. Originally built by the Ford Motor Company in 1921
to assemble Model T’s, this unique structure is now home to Upper Jay
Upholstery and The Recovery Lounge. Guests can expect low lighting,
comfortable old funky furniture, great acoustics, and surprisingly well
acted plays by the local talent pool, as well as challenging art
exhibitions on the second floor, aptly named The Floor 2 gallery. |
